When I happily quit my job in 2007 I was blissfully unaware of how much of a roller coaster ride running your own business can be. One minute you’re up, the next your down. One month it’s feast, the next it’s famine.
It’s not the same thing as a steady paycheck you can rely on, not at all.
I recently asked my coach, Nicole Dean, if it ever levels out and if the roller coaster ride ever stops.
She gave me the painfully honest answer of ‘No’. She said that business always has it’s ups and downs BUT there are ways to plan for those times when you don’t make as much as you would like, or need.
