I’m a super-fan of blogs. In fact, I don’t know how my business would even exist without WordPress.
All of my sites are built on a ‘blog’ or ‘cms’ (content management system) platform.
There are just so many advantages of blogging and if you’re not doing it, I highly recommend you do.
And if you need help getting started I’ve got a free report for one lucky reader!
My friend Crissy Herron of IndieBizChicks.com has written a report called How to Give Good Blog and we’ve arranged to make one copy available completely free ($14.95 value).
I’ve also had the opportunity to review the report (because I will NEVER recommend anything to you that I haven’t either used or know the person who created it very well) and it’s great for beginner to intermediate level bloggers who need some ideas on how to get their blog moving.
Here’s what I like about the report:
- 50 Ways to Promote Your Blog – I’ve been blogging for years now (since 2005 I believe) and Crissy had lots of great ideas I never thought of. The things is you can get into kind of a groove with your blog and stop thinking of new ways to get out there – Crissy’s tips really help with that
- Easy to Follow Workbook - Crissy walks you through what you need to know to get your blog going. This report doesn’t go into any real techy details so anyone needing that kind of extra help might want to go with a host like Reliable Webs who does the blog install for free.

I just recently started my business and have really been interested in starting a blog. I have alot of great ideas but am not sure how to organize them into a blog format. I’m a virtual assistant and I feel like my ideas would really benefit others as well as draw attention to my business: High Desert Business Solutions.

I want to blog about life and business and share how I combine the two as a work-at-home mom. I’m hoping that other mom-preneurs out there will relate and find my tips helpful. I have yet to blog on my brand new site because I want to be prepared and do it right! Cirssy’s report sounds like what I need to get started & keep going.
