I love my Google. How about you?
What in the world WOULD we business owners do without Google in this day and age.
Here are just a few reasons why I love Google too:
Search — I always ‘google it’ because Google just shows the most relevant results, plain and simple. Years ago I was partial to Yahoo but I’ve been converted for quite a while now.
Custom Search - I can find out how many links my site is getting by typing “link: www.site.com” or how many pages my site has by typing “site: www.site.com”
Gmail — Oh what would I do without my Gmail!? I filter every email address I have over to Gmail and collect it all in one spot. There are so many things I love about Gmail, including the fact that all responses to an email are stored as the same message — meaning instead of 10 emails with re:, re: re:, etc in my inbox, I have one message with 9 replies stored in one spot.
I’ve written a few posts here about gmail:

Can you tell I love Gmail? Just a little bit? hehe
Google Webmaster Tools – Did you know Google will TELL YOU what they want you to do for getting found in their search engines? The webmaster tools tell you what google is finding when it’s coming to your site, what it’s not finding, what you need to add and all kinds of really cool (and very usefull) details.
Adsense — I’ve used Adsense on occasion, but I see what a valuable tool it is for my clients and other entrepreneurs.
Adwords — I’ve also spent time using Adwords and getting great results. It’s a very good way to do testing on an opt-in or salespage.
Adwords Keyword Tool – Google has a really great tool that you can use for your keyword research.
Analytics — This is a stats program that gives very detailed website stats. Honestly I don’t know how to use all the features and I’m sure I could do a lot more with this program. I just noticed though that they now offer split testing where Analytics will actually rotate the pages people see so you can test which one is best.
Calendar — Oh I love the Google Calendar. Works great and it sends me email reminders which is exactly what I need to remember things like appointments and deadlines.
Alerts — I pop in a word I want to follow, like my business name, and Google let’s me know anytime it shows up on their radar. How cool is that?!
Documents — This is a very useful program when two people are working on the same document. I’ve used this often with clients, works well when you need to share a document between more than 2 people as well.
YouTube – I’ve got hundreds of views of my videos from YouTube. That’s more exposure for my business.
Feedburner – If you’re getting this post via email RSS subscribe or in a feed reader that’s also thanks to Google!
Maps – I don’t bother with Mapquest anymore. Google just seems to make it quicker and easier to find the place I’m looking for.
Reader - Google’s got a very decent blog feed reader for sure.
iGoogle – A few months ago I started using iGoogle and it’s a great way to keep track of a lot of the above mentioned google programs in one spot.
Wow! I didn’t realize how dependent I actually am on Google.
What about you? Do you rely on Google?

Google does rule the world! I love how you put everything they offer together in one post. Your explanations are easy to understand like some blogs that get all techy ha ha (for me anyway *wink).
I really should filter all my emails into Gmail. I imagine life would be much easier. There are things on here I really didn’t know about. Heard about them but never have used them before.
Thanks!
