Day 1 & 2 – Dropping the WAH Weight

Hey Everybody!

Thank you so, so much for your outpouring of support in the last post – I am floored. Isn’t the internet just so awesome?

Today I have a quick update for you. I cheated (already) but I’m back on track. My son was making me laugh and I have something to say to YOU:

Note – there are two videos because my first one got cut off. I tried to do the second one four times and finally got it right!



Ok I think a couple of things that were in my original video got missed so here are a few things I mentioned above:

I cheated – Yea I made some brownies last night. That’s what I was doing instead of exercising! I love chocolate so this is going to be hard for me to cut down. Today I’ve done well and just had one little bit of brownie. I will never give up my chocolate – moderation baby!

My son made me laugh – My son and I were doing one video and he was cracking up laughing at Scott’s daughter who called him a buttbrain (it a loving kinda way, lol). It was pretty funny but my son kept laughing so much I couldn’t work out.

Some more feedback on the program so far:

Pros:

  • short workouts, approximately 10 minutes each
  • bonding mom/son time working out with the 7 year old
  • you jump right in with this stuff, from sign up it’s all go!
  • made for real people
  • funny! Scott’s daughter made a comical appearance in one video
  • Cons:

  • the cardio is tough, but actually I think that’s a Pro?
  • the videos load a little slow, what I do to fix that is let it load first and then play it

      Today I did day 3 and both my 3yo and my 1yo joined in. So fun, although for this uncoordinated mama moving around them while trying to stay with Scott in the video was a bit challenging…lol Nothing like working your mind at the same time as your body!
