Day 8 – Three Pounds Dropped! Fat Loss Quickie

Today is Day 8 of the Fat Loss Quickie Experience. (if you haven’t been following along you can read the first post here)

Good news! Just past week 1 and I’m already noticing benefits of my work from home fitness and nutrition changes, and they are:

  • Three Pounds Lighter!
  • Increased Energy!
  • Healthier Looking Skin
  • Yep, I’ve dropped three pounds already! I’m really excited about that in just one week. Rather than focus completely on what I have to lose in total, though, I’ve been focusing on where I want to be bit by bit. My goal was three pounds per week so I’m right on track there. I’ve lost weight in the past and usually I lose those three pounds so I was hoping that even though I’m a bit older that would still be the case.

    Three pounds doesn’t sound like a lot but it’s a HUGE VICTORY for me. The scale has not been on the decline for a very long time and now that it’s going in the right direction I plan to keep it that way!

    Let me tell you I did do every exercise but I was far from perfect doing this challenge. I tell you this because I want you to know you can do it too!

    In the first week I had a whole bunch of brownies, a couple of bowls of chips and a chocolate bar or cookie here or there.

    The thing is I was really watching what I eat, working to evolve my eating habits into something that’s more natural and healthy for me. I kept my chocolate cravings in check (after the first brownie binge) and I feel like I’m making real progress towards my ‘dream body’ as Scott of the Fat Loss Quickie Experience calls it.

      Great job Angela! It sure helps when you can see results within the first week that’s for sure. I got lazy the end of last week so I’m a few days behind ya’ll now but it’s ok I’m getting back at this week and will stick with it.

      The energy is definitely a HUGE plus for me as I’m sure for most of us WAHMs & WAHDs!
