There are some programs I use daily in my business and I don’t know how I’d run it nearly as effectively without them.

Here’s my list of five top internet marketing software programs I couldn’t live without (all except one are FREE!):

5. Gimp – I just don’t have the budget for the graphic designer I would need to create all the little extra graphics I like to add to my posts, products, etc., so I use Gimp. Gimp is a free graphics software that is pretty powerful.

4. Filezilla – I transfer a lot of files back and forth from my website service (where my site is hosted) to my computer. There are many reasons why I need to do this – pdf docs, images I want to link to, zip files I want to sell, etc. Filezilla makes it super easy.

3. NVU – This little piece of software has replaced Dreamweaver that I used to use. I just use it for creating some salespage or other single pages where I don’t need to set up a full website. (for the software I use for full websites, see #2!)

2. WordPress – Oh how I love WordPress! You can blog. You can build a website. You can make a membership site. You can build a business all around WordPress – yay for WordPress! (did I mention I love wordpress?)

1. Roboform – The password saver and form filler. I don’t know how I ever survived with all those passwords without Roboform. It has to have saved me tons of hours previously lost to searching for login and password information to the tons of website and services I’m signed up for. I think it also allowed me to sign up for so many more things without having to worry about keeping track of new passwords and login information.
