Day 22 – Fat Loss Quickie: New Dumbbells & a Transformation

21 September 2009 | 0 Comments

WOWW! I just moved my weights from 2.5lbs to 10lbs and I have a whole new workout.

Ok, I have to admit that at one point I called the Fat Loss Quickie workout part ‘relaxing’ – and now I know why. During the videos Scott keeps telling us to make sure we are using challenging weights. 2.5lbs is NOT challenging but 10lbs sure is! My arms are aching but in a good way.

Over the weekend I went out and grabbed the weights and a coolish purple water bottle at Canadian Tire:

Today is Day 22 of the Fat Loss Quickie Challenge. (if you haven’t been following along you can read the first post here)

Today is also day one of a transformational contest where the golden prize is a ticket to NAMS3 (Niche Affiliate Marketing Systems). I really want to go to NAMS so I’m going to be working seriously hard to win the challenge.

It works like this:
- We set one large goal per three areas to work on:
Fitness, Business & Life
- Then we break each of those goals down into four blocks of 21 Days each
- Then we do what we can to hold ourselves accountable: blogging, supporting others, attending accountability calls, etc

My Business, Life & Fitness Transformation Goals:

Business

ProBlogger & Affiliate Marketer:

Yep – This is the first time I’m saying this out loud. I will be a professional blogger. Meaning, I will make a significant income from blogging and affiliate marketing. How do we measure ’significant income’? By the end of this challenge I want to be making at least 50% of my income from blogging and then 80-90% of my income by then end of 2010.

Fitness

Life

Focus on Relationships:

I know I’m not the only one who’s ever struggled with this but sometimes I get too trapped up in ‘internet work’ and forget to focus on my relationships – you know – the important stuff?!

21 Day Actions to Meet The Above Goals

These goals are for the first 21 Days of the challenge. I may change them up or keep them for each of the four sessions, we’ll see.

Business:

  • Choose four products to promote and focus on two products per day (five days per week) for a minimum of fifteen minutes each.
  • One new talk radio show per week with an awesome guest.
  • Fitness:

  • Never miss a workout. There are 10 per week and even if I don’t do it on the exact day I have no excuse for not getting each of them done.
  • Hold myself accountable by starting AND KEEPING UP WITH a food journal. The goal with this journal is to make sure I am not overeating on sweets and junk.
  • Life:

  • Off the computer at 4pm and DO NOT TOUCH IT AGAIN until after my son is in bed
  • Always be in the moment with everyone I talk to and not be always talking ‘obsessing’ about my business
  • So that’s it for the goals. I look forward to hearing YOUR goals? Are you part of the Fat Loss Quickie Program? Are you ready to set your own goals and participate in the amazing contest that’s happening as part of this program?

Let me know what you think!
