Super Affiliate Handbook Challenge Day 5 – Build Your Site
Today is Day 5 of the Super Affiliate Challenge (click that link if you want to see what it’s all about).
I’m reviewing another Chapter from the Super Affiliate Handbook by Rosalind Gardner and getting more pumped about ramping up my affiliate marketing. This chapter covers Building Your Site.
I’ve been building my own websites since 1999 so I feel pretty good about this chapter and don’t really have any actions that I needed to take.
Having a website you can edit is obviously a very important part of being a super affiliate. You need to be able to get to make changes quickly and be constantly adding new content.
Throwing up a five-page website and a few affiliate banners is NOT going to make a you successful affiliate.
What are the essentials you need for getting a website on the internet?
1. A Domain Name
2. Hosting
3. The actual website
For Marketer’s Mojo I have all this. I bought my domain name and hosting at the same place, Bluehost. My website is in Wordpress.
I recommend Wordpress all the time, and the Super Affiliate Handbook also recommends it. Why? It’s a great program that is easy to use, easy to set up and it also has the kind of structure the search engines eat up when you us it on a regular basis.
One of the things that I didn’t like about this Chapter is that the Wordpress tutorials are out of date. That’s hard to avoid since Wordpress updates so often but it may confuse someone who’s not all the technical, tries to follow the setup and then realizes things have changed.
Regardless, the tutorial on how to set up your own Wordpress website will be very helpful to anyone reading this Handbook because now they will know how easy it is to really get yourself online.
So the point of this chapter is getting a website online that you can use in your affiliate promotions. You’re going to be getting to know your website very well as you grow your affiliate marketing skills so make sure you put some time into learning how you can use it to the top of it’s abilities!

I want to learn more on Internet marketing, what i learned from the past seems not really good to compete with new strategies and method evolved in the Internet Marketing. When it comes to Affiliate Marking I am still figuring out why my sales are going up and down. Is there any advice you can give to your reader how to Increase sales in Affiliate Marketing?
Well I recommend you grab the Super Affiliate Handbook if you don’t have it already.
Specific advice to your situation is hard without knowing what you’ve been doing already, ie. what you are selling, how you are promoting, how long you’ve been doing affiliate management, etc.
One thing I would always recommend is keep track of what’s working for you, and working really well, and make sure you are doing everything you can to improve or repeat until moving on to something new.
