Tassimo Canada should be given some great props for their use of social media to spread the word about their coffee machine.
About a month ago I was on Twitter and I saw a post from @ErinBlaskie that said to shout out to her if you wanted to win a Tassimo Coffee Machine and you lived in Canada. I tweeted that I would love one.
And just like that @TassimoCanada said they’d be sending out my new coffee maker shortly!
Now, there were no stipulations, no requests to do reviews. And when I got my coffee maker all it said was please be sure to tell family and friends if you love the coffee maker.
That’s a great use of social media!
Here’s a little video I shot after the package arrived by courier:
My absolute favorite in the machine are the Lattes and Cappuccinos:
Here’s a thorough review of the machine for anyone who might be looking to buy one for their home office OR as an awesome Christmas gift for the coffee lover in your life:
Tassimo Coffee Machine Description
The Tassimo coffee maker is a single cup brewer that makes small to travel sized cups of coffee and other hot beverages.
The machine uses T-Discs with a barcode technology that contain the precise amounts of ingredients. This allows the machine to make the perfect cup every time. It makes coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, as well as cappuccinos and lattes with real milk.
Just some of the 27 T-Disc varieties available:
- Starbucks Columbia, House, Africa Kitamu, Cafe Verona and Breakfast Blends
- Maxwell House Café Collection French Roast Coffee
- Twinings Green Tea & Chai Tea Latte
- Nabob Columbian, Breakfast, Latte & Cappuccino
Who Is This Coffee Maker For?
This machine would be perfect for the work at home crowd who are usually in need of a single cup. Myself, I enjoy it because I don’t drink a lot of coffee and have no need for a full pot. I can easily and without mess make a single cup of coffee.
It’s also a machine for anyone who appreciates a high quality cup of coffee than you can’t get from the traditional brewing machines.
Drawbacks to This Single Cup Coffee Maker?
Well an obvious drawback is that it makes just one cup at a time. This may not be a problem if you only want one cup but if you have a crowd then it may take a while to serve everyone up. In this case I’m sure you could pull out your larger coffee brewer or you could just serve people up one by one. You can hold them off by telling them it’s a high quality cup of coffee that’s definitely worth the wait!

Well, that is pretty cool – and look how good it worked out for both of you. You got a free coffee machine and then you made this nice post and a video as an unsolicited testimonial that helps them promote their product – it’s a win- win!

In my long works of overnight designing, coffee is my companion. So I decided to buy a new coffee maker. It is a nice color of the coffee maker. This will really help a lot on my daily jobs. A cool stuff.
I´m a proud owner of this machine and it is perfect for the quick coffee if you are in a hurry. For three cups or more i use a conventional machine,
