Realistic Answer – no.
If you have to ask the question ‘Can I host my own website on my computer‘ then it’s probably in your own best interest that you don’t attempt to do so. That is of course unless you’re up for a big challenge and a lot of time invested.

- a dedicated computer, not your personal computer

Wow, hosting my own website wouldn't even occur to me. You'd really have to be a geek with nothing else to do and a bunch of money.
I have enough challenges figuring out stuff like optimizing WP plugins, lol.
I think its not impossible.. cause if u can afford a dedicated machine for all need of a webserver then you could host ur own site in ur machine…

I think hosting own site in own computer is hard to afford because it costs lot.
