Twitter’s Down For an Hour - What Shall We DO!

I love the images that Twitter used when they are out of service, like the one above.
I use a program called Twhirl to get my Twitter updates and I was starting to panic because it wasn’t working. Then I went to the site and saw that the whole site is down for about an hour - whatever shall we do!
It’s funny how you get addicted to that communication. Now I don’t sit and post messages to Twitter all day, but it is a great way to stay connected to your community. A site as huge as Twitter though obviously has to go down for maintenance every once in a while.
So here we are with no Twitter for an hour!
For anyone coming across my blog and might be new to social media and unsure of what Twitter is - it’s a little hard to explain but I’ll try: Twitter is like this big instant messenger where you can connect with potentially hundreds of people with a single post. It’s instant and twitter asks you to answer the question “what are you doing”.
