But I'll answer here too ;). I just noticed yesterday that Disqus has the 'no-follow' attribute enabled which means that the links in comments wouldn't get credit as backlinks. Also, the comment love plugin didn't seem to be working either with Disqus. With a quick search I didn't find any solutions so I decided to disable it. Yea I also think it may be confusing to some.
