Well I came to quite a revelation today.

I want a good blog, an active blog, a blog that people come to because they love it and post lots of comments. I’ve wanted one like that for years but here’s the prob:

- I usually have to force myself to site down and write posts.

Then why am I even doing it????

Well – I know blogs are great for search engines (that is when you DO make posts), I know blogs help you build valuable relationships with your readers (when you get them to read) and I know that blogging makes me cool (or at least cooler) than if I don’t blog.

Ok that last post is a little silly but here’s the point:
I’m not going to force myself to do anything anymore!

It’s funny that I now have so much to write since I’m writing about not writing, kinda ironic even.

Here’s what I’ve decided to do – Keep the blog but only write when I feel like it. What I really love to do is TALK. So I’ll be doing more audio posts than ever before and I’ve already got two ready for you.

I’m going to take the opportunity to be more real on my blog, to take off my marketer hat more often and just let you get to know me. @perrybelcher had a great analogy about your blog being your home – and who likes to come into someone’s home and get hit with a pitch-fest?

Look, I’ve got like 10 years of experience online to share and I think it’s high time I really started spilling it. So come back, have a tea and let’s chat. Ask me your questions and like a good friend I’ll respond as quickly and with the best info I can offer. I’m really looking forward to it!

Actually this post was going to be my audio post but I got so carried away writing about not writing that I need to start another one now. So stay tuned in a bit and I’ll get you an audio blog post about how I created some great affiliate income right here on this very blog.
