Of course I knew I wasn't the only one to go through those kinds of 'lessons' but it's nice to have that confirmed, lol ;) I do believe too that there are some things you've just got to do the hard way in order to really find out where you need to be, sometimes that's the only way. Awesome post! I can relate to each point you made because I have been at each of those points too! It is an amazing feeling when you make that shift and realize it is OK to change course from what you originally set out to do and to move forward with what gives you that unstoppable passion. I have to say though I'm thankful for the mistakes that I made because I don't know that I would have ever evolved to where I am now without them and found that unstoppable passion and never-ending vision of possibilities.
