Affiliate marketing is the same way.
A single email can affect people in ways you never expected.
Recently an affiliate here at www.MarketersMojo.com sent an email out to her list. She was a new affiliate, never earning commissions for any program before, but her email was so good it inspired three people to sign up for my website design course.
Now Michelle isn’t a ‘super-affiliate’, as I mentioned she had never done a true affiliate promotion before or earned a commission. She had a very small list but it was targeted. She also did a lot of things right.
Where The Ripple Came In
Michelle also inspired me, the affiliate manager, to email out my own affiliates.

The result of this email was; one affiliate called me a genius, three affiliates earned their first $100 commission checks with me and by July I owed my affiliates over $1200 in commissions (a record for my affiliate program!).
It was all something that happened as a result of that first email Michelle sent out, like ripples on after a drop of water hits and the ripple has begun…
The beauty here is that we don’t know where the ripple effect ends. Here are some of the ways that initial drop rippled out:

- The new students in my course are building websites to help others.
