One of the hardest things about blogging is connecting personally with your readers.
It’s a common issue because we all want hundreds or even thousands of visitors and we try to talk to them all at once. The problem is there’s no way you can relate to a thousand personalities all at once. They are [...]

With all the social media hoop-la lately there seems to be much less of a focus on blogs and blogging for business. Even this past weekend as I attended Podcamp Toronto many of the sessions were on Social Media, Twitter, Facebook and Building Online Communities.
Now I’m not against social media at all but I am [...]

In the early days of my business I was about 80% percent delusional about how to run a business. I really thought that I just needed to work really hard, believe in the business and everything (ie. THE MONEY) would work itself out. Problem was I had no clue how to really manage my cash [...]

People who start home-based businesses come from all kinds of backgrounds.
Some were professionals in the ‘corporate’ world, some were moms who were looking for a little extra cash, some were people who never got a ‘job’ because they wanted to be entrepreneurs and some where anywhere in between.
Because of the varied experiences some people [...]

Last week I dumped my Facebook account. Deactivated it.
It’s funny how people think anyone marketing online must have Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In, etc accounts. When I attended Podcamp Toronto this weekend a couple of people commented directly to me about Facebook:
Someone said:
“I doubt there’s anyone here without a Facebook Account”
I said:
“I don’t have one”
Someone else [...]

About Podcamp
Podcamp is called an ‘unconference’ where everyone who wants to gets to speak. You basically sign up for a session and do it. I may do one [...]

So yesterday I told you about how I totally killed my Facebook account. It was pretty much a quick, swift movement. I had been thinking of getting into Facebook and then I decided against it and had to cut it out. It just was distracting me HUGE and I knew if I kept it open [...]

When I was a little girl my grandfather would sit and watch TV with the sound off. He would watch French movies, but he didn’t speak French so he’d turn off the sound and watch.
This seemed crazy to me. But ‘Poppy’ (as I called him) said you could tell a lot just from the body [...]

The other day in Mom Masterminds a member posted about Outsourcing and what she should know to get started.
As someone who’s provided a service in one way or another for almost four years now I have some ‘insider’ input to add here.
Sometimes you’re ready to outsource. Sometimes you’re not.
Knowing when to outsource [...]

Hey gang! I’ve got a great guest blog post from Steve Thomas, a friend from Lynn Terry’s Elite Membership Forum. Please welcome him to the Marketers Mojo blog and as always leave your comments below!
Does positive thinking have anything to do with online marketing business? I suppose that it depends on whether or not you [...]
