In 2006 I was working in an automotive painting factory. It was a terrible job. I actually have a diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology but ended up in a temp job close to home on an afternoon shift so I could see my baby boy during the day – it worked at the time.
But I always wanted to be an entrepreneur. It was in my blood ever since I made about $1.50 selling rocks on the side of the road at age five.
And so one day as I was literally inside a giant paint oven scraping dirty, gross gunk off the walls I had enough and vowed right then and there that I would quit that job and never be bossed around for money again! And I did. Nine months later I was home, as a virtual assistant, making money MY way.
About a year after I became a VA I released 24 Hour VA Profits, a report that told people the true story of how I got 11 clients in 24 hours. Over time I retired the report as my business had moved on from Virtual Assistance and it was no longer a reflection of the full picture.
